What is a stockroom in the lost and found module?
One day, our Account Manager was waiting to make a presentation in a hotel. While waiting, he was looking at what the clerks were doing when asked by the bellboy if he had gloves that were forgotten by a customer the previous day. He looked in his drawers, called housekeeping, went in his manager’s office and finally (after 10 minutes) told the bellboy that nothing had been given to them. The restaurant employee overheard the clerk talk and stopped to tell him they had the gloves in the restaurant. The client left happy. When the account manager got back to the office is told us the story and we directly added in our Lost & Found module the field STOCKROOM to be filled out from a list.
Basically: adding that field MADE SENS so we did it without holding back. Most Banquet departments will keep forgotten objects for 24 hours before sending them to housekeeping. At all time, anyone that has permission to look at the Lost & Found list would know where each object are and precious guest don’t need to wait anymore.
How many inspection reports can I configure?
Evolucio Suite let you create as many as you want.

What does CMMS mean and why is yours different?
CMMS definition is a computerized maintenance management system.

Can anyone work with Evolucio Suite?
Anyone can and should be able to work with Evolucio Suite.
We’ve been in the software business long enough to know that everybody does not get it at the same pace but at the end, whether you are knowledgeable of computers or not, employees won’t be able to get information without it.
How long is the training for my maintenance employees?
Training on how to use the application for your employees is very quick. There a minimal number of screens to learn to get things going like:
- How to fill out a new work order (we ask users to do at least ten (10) and the usually get it sooner)
- How to identify work to be done (the users interface is very self explanatory therefore a couple of days is sufficient)
- How to close a work order (after closing a couple of them, they usually get the drift)
All other features are acquired as they grow with Evolucio Suites.
Can I assign certain jobs to employees?
Depending of the size of your organisation and the number of employees, you have the option to assign any task to a specific employee. Nevertheless, it is not mandatory to do so. Closing a job will automatically assign the employee when he identifies himself to it.
Who can I send work orders to?
First of all, let’s define the work order:
‘A work order is a form issued by a user requesting the completion of a specified work.’
Basically, a work order could also be called other things such as:
- A todo
- A task
- A job
- ...
You can use Evolucio Suite to send a request of something to be done for any departments you see fit to receive theme. Here are some examples:
- Housekeeping could receive a task such as changing the sheets etc...
- You could input time spent in doing room inspections for your managers
- Managers jobs to be completed before the next meeting
- IT departments inventory
- ...
Who should access to the software?
There are usually two (2) types of users. The first one being the user that inputs work to be done and the second one being the one that will do the job. Since you want to make sure that your maintenance or housekeeping staff waste less time in answering calls, we would suggest that you give access to as many employees as you see fit.
Is putting work orders faster than my actual system?
The process between inputting the work order and sending the information is much quicker then calling, paging and even writing a paper. Let’s not forget that it doesn’t stop there, you also want to make sure your maintenance crew can access at all time every tasks that need to be taken care off...
Who puts work orders in Evolucio Suites?
Anyone that has access to the application with proper rights will be able to add work orders for any department. The basic idea of acquiring a QMS is to let anyone working in your property tell Maintenance or Housekeeping WITHOUT calling them by phone input a task so it is not forgotten.
Can I run Evolucio on my MAC or Linux?
Evolucio is a .net program and runs on Microsoft Windows, you can access to Evolucio suite with either a MAC, a Linux or even an IPAD using either RDP (terminal server) technologies, citrix ZEN or our light client software.
Do you offer onsite training?
Yes, normally we highly recommend onsite training.
We do online training for addons modules or for smaller hotels that can't afford the travel fees.
We have also regular virtual training classes for each major release of the software.
What are your support policies?
Evolucio offer a 24/7 phone support to all his clients anywhere in the world within 30 minutes for emergency calls.
